RentKhata is a web-based tool that helps independent property owners manage their rental properties — including rent invoicing, payment tracking, renter records, document management, and communication. It is not a real estate agency, brokerage, or financial institution.
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. Each owner account is for one property owner or business entity. You may invite renters to access a self-service portal, but you remain responsible for the accuracy of data you enter about your properties and renters.
RentKhata is a record-keeping tool, not a source of legal truth. Owners are responsible for the accuracy of renter information, invoice amounts, payment records, and documents they upload. RentKhata does not independently verify this data.
New accounts start with a 30-day free trial that includes full access to all features. After the trial, a paid subscription is required to continue using the service. Subscription plans, pricing, and room limits are listed on the billing page. Payments are made via UPI and confirmed manually by the platform administrator.
Owners may choose to publicly list vacant rooms. Publicly listed rooms display only the city/area, rent amount, photos, and description — never the exact street address, owner contact information, or current renter data. Visitors can submit inquiries which are forwarded to the owner; RentKhata does not mediate between owners and prospective renters.

We aim to keep RentKhata available at all times, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Maintenance, updates, or unforeseen issues may cause temporary downtime. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of planned maintenance.
RentKhata is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We are not liable for any loss of data, revenue, or damages arising from the use of this service. In particular, RentKhata is not responsible for disputes between owners and renters, payment disputes, or the accuracy of user-entered data.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, fail to pay for active subscriptions after reasonable notice, or are used in ways that harm the service or other users.
